The Project for Human Resource Development Scholarship (JDS) has been started in Viet Nam since 2000. Up to the present, total of 831 Master's Fellows and 26 Doctoral Fellows have been sent to Japan.

JDS is now inviting potential applicants who understand its aims and are interested in 2-year Master's Degree Program (course 2025-2027, the program will be instructed in English) and 3-year Doctoral Degree Program (course 2025 - 2028, program in English or Japanese, but selection procedure will be in English) at Japanese accepting universities.

The number of dispatches is maximum 45 per year for Master's Degree and 5 per year for Doctoral Degree.
